Aurora Christensen
Immigration Strategist (NZ)
New Zealand Licensed Immigration Adviser #201700041
Aurora became licensed as an Immigration Adviser in New Zealand in 2017.
Previously working as a Customs Officer for the New Zealand Customs Service, Aurora has a background knowledge of immigration that benefits her clients in all aspects of the immigration process.
Aurora is also an Enrolled Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, which means she can often identify legal issues which may impact on clients applications and either guide clients through those issues, or as needed advise clients when they should be seeking specialist legal advice. However her extensive legal training also gives her confidence when dealing with Immigration New Zealand over statutory interpretation, something few licensed advisers have the skill set to do.
Recently Aurora has acted for clients in a number of complex Ministerial Reviews and appeals, and has a high success rate at this complex point in an immigration file where the average adviser would be unable to act.
Aurora now undertakes mentoring/supervision of other Advisers new to the industry.
Since 2008 the NZ Government introduced statutory and mandatory licensing of all Immigration Advisers acting for clients hoping to emigrate to New Zealand. Aurora prides herself on providing clients with a high level of service focused on the end goal, getting the visa the client needs.
Newly associated with our firm, we are now pleased to have Aurora on board in the role of our New Zealand Associate.
