Migration Queenslands 2023-24 Program Update

Migration Queenslands 2023-24 Program Update
Competitive State Nomination Program

Migration Queensland has opened its state nomination skilled migration program for the 2023-24 fiscal year. However, with a reduced allocation from the Department of Home Affairs this year (1550 skilled nominations and no BIIP allocation), the program is highly competitive. Invitation rounds will begin in September 2023 and continue monthly, with capped invitations to maintain fairness. Applicants are encouraged to consider alternative migration options.
