Accounting Professional Year Program to Cease

On 21 February 2025, CPA Australia, CAANZ, and IPA announced the cessation of the Accounting Professional Year Program (Accounting PY Program) due to a steep decline in enrolments (from 7,122 in 2018 to just 340 in 2024) and lack of government action on proposed reforms.
