NSW Nominations – opening soon!

We have been advised that NSW nominations for the Business & Investor Visas as well as skilled migrants for 2022-23 will start in the next couple of weeks. Some changes for this year are:

  1. Points Test by NSW for Business Innovation and Investment visas- subclass 188. This is likely to be 85 points
  2. Applicants having multiple EOI’s would not be considered for invitation – for example EOI’s with multi visa options such as those selecting two options such as 189 and 190 or 190 and 491 will not receive an invitation from NSW.
  3. To be considered in a NSW invitation round, only EOI’s which solely select NSW as the preferred state will be considered.
  4. Offshore applicants would be considered for invitations.
  5. There would be two pathways for the 491 stream- one of which would have the provision for applicants to apply directly to the RDA for the 491 stream, the other would be invited by NSW government.
