Tasmania to Close Skilled Migration ROIs for Remainder of 2024–25 Program Year
Gold Pass ROIs accepted until 16 June 2025; all others paused until 2025–26 program opens
From 5:00 pm on 19 May 2025, Migration Tasmania will only accept Registrations of Interest (ROIs) from candidates allocated a Gold Pass, due to high demand for nominations. Gold Pass ROIs will close at 5:00 pm on 16 June 2025, after which no further ROIs will be accepted for the remainder of the 2024–25 program year. Assessment of lodged but undecided applications will continue, though not all may receive nomination due to limited places. Approved applications beyond the cap will be nominated in the 2025–26 program year. Uninvited ROIs will be retained for consideration in the next program year.
