Update on Early Childhood Teacher Skills Assessments

New Assessing Authority for Early Childhood (Pre-Primary School) Teacher Occupation

Starting 7 December 2024, the responsibility for skills assessments for the Early Childhood (Pre-Primary School) Teacher occupation will move from the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) to the ACECQA.

ACECQA’s specific assessment standards for Early Childhood Teachers are now accessible. Prospective applicants are encouraged to consult ACECQA’s Skills Assessment Application Guidelines to understand the application process and requirements.
