The CSOL consolidates the previously complex and outdated occupation lists into a single, streamlined framework. Developed through rigorous labour market analysis and extensive stakeholder consultation by Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA), the CSOL encompasses 456 occupations identified as pivotal to Australia’s workforce.

This means that the vote has been deferred to 2025, delaying the implementation of the Skills in Demand visa.
