  • The oldest nomination application awaiting allocation was lodged on October 19, 2023.
  • After allocation, the goal is to provide outcomes within 10 days.

 

2. Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) Visa:

  • Nominations Used: 274 out of 600 places.
  • Applications in Process: 41 nomination applications pending decision.
  • Invitations Issued: 20 invitations to apply for nomination awaiting acceptance.
  • Registrations of Interest: 541 on hand.

 

3. Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) Visa:

  • Nominations Used: 197 out of 600 places.
  • Applications in Process: 35 nomination applications pending decision.
  • Invitations Issued: 11 invitations to apply for nomination awaiting acceptance.
  • Registrations of Interest: 403 on hand.

 

4. Selection Process:

  • Migration Tasmania selects Registrations of Interest (ROIs) for nomination on an ongoing basis.
  • Up to 30 invitations are issued weekly.
  • Only the most competitive ROIs are chosen to apply for nomination.
